Reflecting back to my junior year of high school while I was sitting waiting for the greyhound bus in DC, I remember thinking to myself if I can just graduate, join the Air Force and become a pilot I’ll have it made, and so from that point to now it’s kind of been like a magic carpet ride, from wanting to be a pilot in the USAF to the Naismith Hall of Fame.

I’d like to thank all the people who have positively touched my life and put me in a position to be considered for this honor. I hope I’m smart enough to understand I don’t get to this position by myself. No one achieves success alone. Thank you all for your kind words!
